A nursery group based in Eltham has been named by parents as one of the top 20 nursery groups in the UK.

Crafty Wizards and its "magnificent team" have been named in the top 20 in the UK for small nurseries and in the top 20 in London.

It's two London nurseries, one in Eltham and one in Avery Hill, have also both been rated as in the 20 nurseries in London out of 2053 early years settings in the capital.

Daynurseries.co.uk are a nursery review site, and has awarded top nursery groups based on their reviews from families and carers.

Groups are judged on their overall standard, facilities and outside space, learning, resources and equipment and ICT, activities, food, management, cleanliness, value for money and level of care.

Other local winners included the Croft Day Nursery in Upper Abbey Wood, the Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery in Bexleyheath and Welling and the Cherry Blossom Pre-School in Bromley.
