A NUMBER of pupils and staff at a West End school have been placed into quarantine.
Glasgow City Council chiefs have confirmed a several people at Hillhead Primary have been sent home as a precaution.
However, there are no Covid-19 cases within the Otago Street school itself and instead they are all externally linked.

Letters of advice have been sent home to parents and council bosses insist robust measures are in place to combat the spread of the virus.
A GCC spokeswoman said: "The school is following the advice of our public health experts and as a precaution some staff members and pupils have been asked to self-isolate.

“Families have been issued letters with advice and guidance and reassured of the robust health and safety measures in place to mitigate against the risk of the spread of the virus.”
