A 23-YEAR-OLD man has been warned that he is going to prison for a £12,500 cash in transit robbery in Bradford.

Mohammed Farid, of Newport Place, Manningham, Bradford, will be sentenced on November 23 after his barrister, Andrew Dallas, conceded that custody was inevitable.

Farid appeared before Bradford Crown Court on a video link to Leeds Prison to change his plea to the offence.

He had denied the allegation at a hearing last month and a trial date was set for March next year.

Today he admitted jointly with others robbery of a G4S cash cassette on July 27.

Mr Dallas asked for a probation report that will go towards the length of the prison sentence.
