ALL Year 10 pupils at Hanson School have been sent home following a positive case of Covid-19.
They were sent home yesterday and will be out of school for three-and-a-half days as the school is closed on Friday for a training day and it is half term next week.
Headteacher Richard Woods said: “We can confirm that there has been a positive case of Covid-19 within our school.
“The safety of our pupils and staff is our top priority. We are working closely with Public Health England and Bradford Council and following all the appropriate advice and guidance.
“The families of the children who have been identified as a close contact with the confirmed case have been contacted and told to self-isolate.
“The school remains open to all other children.”
