ONE more person has died at the Royal Bolton Hospital after contracting coronavirus, figures have revealed.
NHS England statistics released today show that 238 people who tested positive for covid-19 have now passed away at the hospital.
Government data also shows that there have been 93 more confirmed cases of the virus in the borough in the last day, raising the total in the borough to 4,502.
The rate per 100,000 people who have had the virus in Bolton is now 1,565.6.
The figures, which are recorded up to 4pm today, Saturday, have found that there are 6,042 new UK confirmed cases in the last 24 hours, raising the overall total to 429,277.
