PLANNING has been approved for an extra wing to be built on the side of the Swan Hotel in Newby Bridge by the Lake District National Park Authority.
The most recent permissions on this planning application were needed acceptance of their Tree Protection Plan.
This plan contained within the submitted revised Arboricultural Impact Assessment has been deemed acceptable and was approved. The new wing to the existing hotel for the creation of a swimming pool and spa facilities on the ground floor and 28 hotel rooms on upper floor as well as car parking and landscaping.
