MORE bars and restaurants in the Bradford District have applied for licences to install outdoor seating to better allow social distancing.

Last month Bradford Council announced that it was relaxing licensing rules so more businesses could set up outdoor eating and drinking areas.

More businesses have recently applied for such licences. They include Pizza Express in Bradford, which is renewing an existing licence.

La Stazione in Ilkley has applied to extend the area of their current outdoor seating beyond the unadopted section on to the adopted highway to improve social distancing.

Piccolino in Ilkley has applied to install three tables and 12 chairs on artificial grass in front of the business on Brook Street surrounded by café style barriers.

Arlo Coffee House in Burley in Wharfedale has applied for a licence for four outdoor tables and eight chairs.
