A pub landlady has had her home broken into by opportunist thieves who stole cash and watches before running from the scene.
The Feildens Arms in Feniscowles was broken into in the early hours of Sunday morning.
According to police, the thieves gained access to the flat above the pub, on Preston Old Road, through an upstairs window.
Officers are now appealing for information about the break-in.
A spokesperson for the police said: "This was reported to us at 10am on Sunday.
"Thieves have broken in through an upstairs window which gave them access to the flat above the pub.
"A few hundred pounds in cash was stolen as well as a couple of watches.
"As far as we know nothing was taken from the pub itself.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101 quoting log reference 0467 of September 13."
The Feildens Arms has only recently re-opened after lockdown, and staff at the pub are also wanting anyone who might have seen anything suspicious to contact the police.
