A SKIPTON man has lost his driving licence after pleading guilty to drug-driving.
Jonaid Hussain, 21, of Brougham Street, admitted one charge of driving with 3.4 microgrammes of a cannabis derivative in his blood after providing a positive blood test.
The specified limit is two microgrammes.
Skipton magistrates were told the defendant was approached by police after he pulled into a fuel station in his car in Station Road, Cross Hills, near Keighley, on May 2 this year.
Officers smelled cannabis and searched the vehicle but found nothing.
Hussain, who had been working as a driver for Hermes but was currently furloughed was banned from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £120, told to pay £85 costs and a £34 surcharge.
