SEVERAL areas have been the target of a speed awareness operation over the last several days.
Burnley neighbourhood policing team were asked to conduct checks in Worsthorne, Barden Land and Colne road following concerns over speeding.
A spokesman said: "Drivers committing offences were spoken to, educated and advised.
"Thank you to local residents for highlighting this issue to us."
