Sofia Sarwar Lister's health gym manager told us “This has been a challenging time for the entire country, and fitness centres like ours have had to put everything on hold and close our operations.

"Thankfully we have been able to still support members with regular updates on our website as well as fitness and wellbeing support via our social media platforms”.

Some of the measures the gym says it has in place includes limiting the number of people in the gym at any particular time, ensuring a two metre distance during classes and fitness sessions and additional spacings between machines.

They have also created of a number of cleaning and hand sanitising stations alongside more regular cleaning schedules for the gym.
