A BASINGSTOKE woman has been given a community order after pleading guilty to assault.

Louise Sibanda, of Kimbell Road, admitted assaulting a woman in Basingstoke on April 26.

She was ordered to take part in Rehabilitation Activity days over a period of a month.

Additionally, the 24-year-old was fined £105, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £85.

TRACY Donnelly has been sent to prison for a fortnight after failing to abide by supervision requirements following her release from custody.

The Basingstoke woman, of no fixed abode, had been sent to prison for six months in December after being charged with possession of a bladed article and causing harassment, alarm or distress.

And when she was released in June, Ms Donnelly admitted failing to declare to her supervisor that she had changed her address.

The 45-year-old also admitted other breaches of her supervision order - that she stayed at an address other than that permitted by her supervisor and did not attend a drug rehabilitation clinic.

For the two charges, Ms Donnelly will spend a total of 14 days in prison, as well as being ordered to pay £25 in costs.

A MAN from Basingstoke has pleaded not guilty to assault.

Samuel Brendan White, of Andwell near Hatch, is alleged to have assaulted a woman in Oakley, on March 15.

The 34-year-old has been remanded on conditional bail whilst a pre-sentence report is prepared.

He must not enter the road of the assault, except after arranging with police, and must not contact the victim, except for the purposes of child contact.

He will next appear at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on August 5, 2020.

AN OVERTON woman has been fined after pleading guilty to speeding.

Rebecca Sarah Allen, of Dellands, admitted driving her Volkswagen Polo at 51 miles per hour on the B3046 in Alresford, when the speed limit was 30.

She pleaded guilty via single justice procedure at Aldershot Magistrates' Court earlier this week, after the offence took place on February 27.

The 41-year-old was fined £145, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £85.

She was also given six penalty points on her licence.

A MAN from Eversley has been fined after being found to have not been in control of his vehicle on the M3.

Wayne Billy Cole, of Reading Road, was driving his Isuzu pick-up truck on the M3 between junctions 7 and 6 on March 23 when he did not have proper control.

The 32-year-old was found guilty via single justice procedure at Aldershot Magistrates' Court earlier this week, and was fined £220.

Additionally, he was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32, costs of £85 and given three points on his licence.

A WOMAN from Bournemouth has been fined over £1,500 after being caught at almost 100 miles per hour on the M3.

Nasreen Crawford, of Branksome Hill Road, was fined £1,733 after pleading guilty to travelling at 99 miles per hour on the M3 at Junction 7.

She was caught in her Mercedes GLS on February 27.

As well as the fine, she was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £173, and costs of £85, as well as having six points put on her licence.
