Kent Fire and Rescue are currently dealing with a fire at Dartford Heath, and trhe public are being advised to stay clear of the area.
Also today, firefighters have been tackling a blaze at a garage in Sidcup, south east London.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to Blackfen Road after midday, but the fire has since been controlled, despite damaging the garage and surrounding fence.
And according to Kent Fire and Rescue, approximately 300 square metres of the heathland have been alight since around 4pm today, July 22.
Six fire engines and all-terrain vehicles are in attendance and the fire is ongoing.
Kent Fire and Rescue say there are no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire is not yet known in either cases.
