ROOLEY Lane has been reopened after a two-vehicle accident at the Dudley Hill roundabout.

The road traffic collision involved a van and a blue Toyota and was reported at 12.48pm today.

A spokesperson for West yorkshire Police said no injuries were reported.

Officers were at the scene clearing debris on the road.

The A6177 Rooley Lane was affected westbound with traffic now easing, accident cleared from Wakefield Road (Dudley Hill roundabout) to Bowling Hall Medical Practice.

There was previous congestion to the car dealerships along Sticker Lane, with queues also back to Knowles Park along Tong street.

Traffic on the opposite side was reported back to Staygate Roundabout affecting traffic towards Asda.
