Police have named the woman who was found stabbed to death in a Greenwich Holiday Inn on Sunday morning (July 5).

On Monday (July 6), a statement published by the Met Police named 23-year-old Khloemae Loy as the victim.

Police said her next of kin have been informed.

As News Shopper reported previously, Khloemae was found by paramedics and police who were called to the Holiday Inn on Bugsby's Way in Greenwich suffering serious injuries, and pronounced dead at the scene.

The Met Police statement published Monday meanwhile revealed the results of the post-mortem examination and gave an update on the man believed to be connected to the killing who fell from a height while police attended.

A spokesperson for the Met Police said:

"A special post-mortem examination held at Greenwich Mortuary on Monday, 6 July gave cause of death as a single stab wound to the neck.

"At the location, a man believed to be known to her, fell from height.

"The man, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition. He has been arrested in connection with the incident."

Homicide detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime have launched an investigation.

Police reiterated their initial assessment on Monday that at present they believe no one else is involved in the incident.

A crime scene is in place and officers remain on scene.
