A HABERDASHERY shop has brought wool back to in Shipley Underground Market after long-standing wool traders retired.
After The Woolcorner closed last year, the owners of Shipley Haberdashery & Crafts felt it would be a "massive loss to the market and Shipley".
Before lockdown began, owners Graham and Linda Preston started plans to expand the haberdashery units to accommodate knitting yarns and accessories.
Now complete, it stocks three local wool suppliers, King Cole, Woolcraft and James C Brett.
Graham told the Telegraph & Argus: "The Woolcorner had been there 40 odd years. We'd have had no wool in the market so we decided we would expand into three more units.
"This would have been a massive loss to the market and Shipley.
When asked what he loves about the market, he said: "It's a community. We've got different people selling different things."
