A prolific shop thief whose haul included 26 Unstoppables has been halted in his tracks by an 18 week prison sentence.
Gareth Dobson, 32, of no fixed address, was locked up by West Yorkshire Magistrates’ Court today after a shoplifting spree that targeted six stores in the Bradford area.
His offending, between May 4 and June 10, led him to be charged with 11 offences of theft and one of attempted theft.
The counts against him included allegations of theft at Poundland in Idle; B&M stores in Kings Road, Bradford, and at Baildon Bridge Retail Park; Busy Lane Convenience Store in Leeds Road, Shipley, and Aldi in New Bolton Woods, Bradford.
Among the items that Dobson stole were gammon joints, 12 refills of Febreze, 25 Dove body washes, 26 Unstoppables, tins of tuna and four packs of bin liners.
