NEWCASTLE United’s first three games when football resumes in England are all at home and televised. The Times has reported that provisional fixtures for the first three rounds of Premier League matches – as well as FA Cup ties – have been released to clubs.
The Magpies will face Sheffield United at St James Park on Sunday, June 21 – the first weekend of the Premier League at 2pm.
Next up is a home game with Aston Villa on Wednesday, June 24 at 6pm before the FA Cup quarter-final with Man City on Sunday, June 28 at 6pm.
Their first away game comes on Wednesday, July 1 at Bournemouth, kick-off 6pm.
All remaining games in the Premier League will be televised across Sky, BT, BBC and Amazon Prime.
The Times report that the Merseyside derby, when Liverpool could secure the Premier League title, is set to be shown at 7pm on Sunday, June 21.
Brighton against Arsenal is in line to be the first live televised game of an English top-flight game played at 3pm on a Saturday 3pm. It will be on BT Sport.
Bournemouth at home to Crystal Palace will be the BBC’s first live Premier League match on Saturday, June 21, 7.45pm.
Some midweek matches will kick off simultaneously, broadcast on either two different broadcasters or in some cases the same one.
