A man was attacked with a screwdriver whilst he defended his property in Slough.

At around 11.20pm on Saturday, May 23, offenders attempted to gain entry into a property on Essex Avenue by using force.

The owner of the property noticed this, and challenged them at the front door.

He was then swiped at with a screwdriver, which cut him in the forearm.

The offenders then fled from the property and took off in an Audi.

The victim did not require hospital treatment.

Detective Constable, Conor Campbell, based at Slough police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who has information that could assist with this investigation to get in touch.

“I believe the men in this CCTV may have vital information that could help with this investigation.
