A SUPERCAR was seized after it was driven past officers in an unmarked car at way above the legal speed limit.
The bright orange McLaren was pulled over on the M61 near Rivington after it speed past officers at 100mph.
Upon pulling the supercar over, officers also discovered that the vehicle’s driver was disqualified.
The motorist was stopped and the vehicle seized.
A police spokesman said: “HO30 (in an unmarked police car) was overtaken on the motorway at well over 100mph by this Maclaren.
“When pulled over it was discovered the driver was disqualified, but doesn't it look ace in the recovery yard.”
