COVID-19 has disrupted the wedding plans of more than 250 couples who had booked their big day with Fife Council.
Registrars are dealing with enquiries and concerns from anxious brides and grooms who are facing a change to their plans.
A council report outlining the impact coronavirus has had on the council said: "A substantial amount of work has been carried out by registrars contacting over 250 couples who had marriage bookings with the registration service.
"Over 70 emails have also been received from couples enquiring with concerns about religious/belief marriages.
"Ongoing work is still in progress as government advice is reviewed."
