A mum has spoken out after she was abused and her son targeted in a vile racist attack.

Yasin Johal took to Twitter and later shared a video of her experiences whilst she was with her two-year-old son.

The blogger says her son was spat at and called a disgusting P**i child. Yasmin later posted a video and told that her boyfriend who is white was with them and felt they were targeted because they were an inter-racial family.

She said, "Feeling very sick and shaken up. a man just spat at Remy multiple times calling him a disgusting p*ki child and threatening to "pull him out that push chair and smash his head on the pavement.

"My two-year-old son. who was literally just existing.

"This was on Mansfield road (a big main road in Nottingham) in broad daylight with tons of people around. These people are ruthless, they're not scared of anything. they're proud of being racist and truly believe we don't belong here. I'm sick of it, I really don't feel safe here anymore.

"How am I supposed to leave the house every day with my baby and not be terrified of every white man I come across? This is twice in two months I've had to go to the police now. The long term damage this will do to me is something he probably didn't even think about. or maybe he did."

She later posted,"Thanks for all the kind words and support! the police have just left after spending two hours here, hopefully they find him but I'm not overly confident. Remy has been incredibly sweet and blissfully ignorant all evening, he's always the light in a bad situation."

In video posted today she said, "We have experienced racism before because a lot of people have an issue with inter-racial couples.

"We have exprienced comments from other brown people and we have had looks from brown people and white people. I don't know if people seem to have an issue. We don't normally usually mind.

"Obviously this was different because he brought Remy into it. It was really violent. It was really aggressive. He seemed to have a hatred of Remy."

She added, "I think he seemed to have issue with we an inter-racial couple. A good half of what he said was aimed at Danny (Yasmin's boyfriend)."

She also said she believed this was a direct result of the current political climate.
