Anyone remember Bradford’s Pizza Margherita on Hall Ings? Apart from the odd Eating Out review this Italian eatery seemed to just appear and then shortly close.
The setback doorway with its discreetly placed menu seemed to contribute to its low-key appearance compared with the bright-and-brash look of some of its rivals. But once inside it was a different matter. The cool green décor and well-spaced tables gave an airy feel to the small-to-average-size dining area, with its ultra-laid-back jazz/soul tape that played during your meal.
Unlike some of Bradford’s other popular pizza restaurants such as Mamma Mia and Pizza Pieces maybe this Italian eatery with its Egon Ronay window sticker just couldn’t stand the test of time.
