THERE will be a celebration of Bradford women at Delius Arts next Sunday.
Taking place between 2pm-4pm, there will be talks about women's activism through poetry, art, story and lived experience.
To make sure it is the most inclusive atmosphere possible and help everyone feel able to share, organiser Bradford Transformed is running this as an event for all those who identify as women.
Speakers announced for the event so far include: Kafayat Adegoke, Carolyn Mendelsohn, Vie Clerc and Inayah Sher, artist Saba Fatima, spoken word artist Shareen Satti and musician Poppy Mendelsohn.
More guests may be announced yet.
A spokesperson for the event explained: "We also want to hear the stories of as many female activists as possible so please do think about your experience if you'd be willing to share."
Delius Arts & Cultural Centre can be found on 29 Great Horton Road in the BD7 area.
International Women's Day is set to take place on Sunday, March 8 and marks the movement for women's rights every single year.
