THE University of West London, which trains nurses, midwives, social workers and mental health care specialists, needs help from people across Ealing.

Its College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare is calling on people to get involved in a number of ways – while earning some extra cash at the same time.

Role play: Anyone can apply to join the public advisers team and take part in role-play training throughout the year – playing everything from frustrated A&E patients to parents discussing their children’s long-term health conditions with care teams.

Talk about being a patient: If you have a long-term health condition, been admitted to hospital or had care at home, simply talking about your experiences can help.

Discuss your disabilities: All trainee healthcare professionals undergo specialist learning disabilities training. Staff are keen to hear from people who can come and share their own experiences.

If you think your experiences could help, sign up to the next workshop via https://www.eventbrite.com/e/public-involvement-open-day-tickets-90294779115
