Two people have been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and possession with intent to supply controlled drugs in High Wycombe.

The men, aged 22 and 23 respectively, who are also from High Wycombe, failed to stop for police on Desborough Road on Sunday, January 26 at around 1.30pm.

The chase continued down Green Street, where several cars had to take evasive action to avoid being in an accident.

They have since been released under investigation.

Investigating officer Sergeant James Hoskin, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “This incident happened in the middle of the afternoon, and I am appealing to anybody that was in the area and witnessed the manner of driving of a grey Vauxhall Insignia, to contact police.

“I am particularly keen to hear from anybody who may have dash-cam footage of the car from around 1.30pm on Sunday to get in touch.
