THE Bradford city centre branch of Santander is closed today.
A sign on the door of the bank, on Darley Street, says it closed today due to an "ongoing engineering failure".
While the hope is it will open as soon as possible, this will not be today.
The nearest branches are in Wibsey, Shipley and Brighouse.
A Santander spokesperson said: “We can confirm that our Bradford city centre branch is temporarily closed due to ongoing engineering work and we hope to reopen the branch shortly.
"We are sorry for the inconvenience caused while the branch remains closed and we are working to re-open it as soon as possible.
"Should customers require counter services in the meantime, they can visit our Wibsey branch at 9 Folly Hall Road, BD6 1UL or their local post office, or choose to manage their account using internet, telephone or mobile banking.”
