A FIRE has broken out at a flat in Hove.
The fire service was called at 1.30pm and crews are still battling the blaze.
The fire started in a first floor flat in Blatchington Road.
Images from the scene show a large plume of smoke billowing into the sky.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue said the crews in three fire engines are using breathing apparatus and a hose reel to bring the flames under control.
