Santa Mike
A FUNERAL will take place on Monday for a pensioner who delighted children by dressing up as Father Christmas.
“Santa Mike” Childs brought joy to young people across Brighton for nearly two decades on Brighton and Hove Buses’ Santa Bus. He died in November aged 77.
A public Christmas-themed memorial service involving Mike’s Santa Bus will take place at 11.30am at St Nicholas Church in Brighton.
Visitors are encouraged to dress up in Christmas outfits to celebrate the holiday Mike loved so much.
