Travellers in the car park of Tesco, at Middlebrook Retail Park, Horwich
TRAVELLERS have taken up residence in the car park of Tesco in Horwich.
The group have parked as many as seven caravans outside the store, which is connected to the Middlebrook Retail Park.
They are believed to have arrived today (Wednesday).
A spokesman for Tesco told the Bolton News: "We are aware of the travellers on our car park at our Horwich Extra store and we are working with Greater Manchester Police to find a solution.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused to customers.”
The Gypsy Liaison Officer at Bolton Council is also aware of the travellers and thought to be advising supermarket staff.
