Members of the Kings Academy Leo Club have handed over toys to the Bradford Hospitals' Charity Christmas toy appeal
A CHARITABLE club for youngsters has handed over toys for children in Bradford who are in hospital over the festive period.
Young members of the Kings Academy Leo Club and staff at Kings Academy in Bradford responded to an appeal by Bradford Hospitals' Charity for its annual Christmas Toy Drop.
Leo club co-ordinator Shaheen Yasin handed over the gifts at St Luke's Hospital, Great Horton lane, to the charity's Elaine Drake.
The Leo Club - which stands for Leadership, Experience, Opportunity - is the youth arm of Lions Clubs International, and was set up at the Dixons Kings Academy in 2015.
It is sponsored by Bradford Central Lions Club, which itself was formed in 2013, and has a number of ongoing projects.
