HUNDREDS of items donated by generous readers for the Telegraph & Argus Toys & Tins Appeal have been handed over to this year's charity.
The gifts were delivered to Survive & Thrive in Bradford, a charity which helps women and children fleeing domestic violence.
Yasmin Khan, of Staying Put, thanked everyone, saying: "Many survivors especially women fear the festive period. We know there is a huge amount of pressure on people to hang on to their relationships and keep their families together over Christmas, and guilt about creating the perfect day.
"As a partnership Bradford Survive & Thrive are hugely grateful for the support of all who have committed to donating to the Telegraph and Argus Toys & Tins appeal. The families we are working with are going to be able to bring so much joy this Christmas thanks to your generous support.
"Without the pledged support and generosity from individuals, businesses, organisations and their staff, this appeal would not have been possible, and the support received from the public at the collection point was overwhelming!
"We'd like to say a massive thank you to all that donated and supported the appeal."
