Disability support group Purple Patch were honoured at a national event for its charitable work.
The team attended a dinner in Bradford in support of Islamic Relief and was presented with the ‘Best Banner’ Award in front of guests from across the country.
The group which is based at Bangor Street Community Centre in Blackburn posted: “We were up against some amazing universities and organisations.
"A massive well done to all our amazingly talented partners. We want to say a massive thank you to all the organisers and volunteers of the event. We were made to feel very welcome and everyone had a fantastic time.”
Purple Patch had raised over £230 during Charity Week and presented the money to Islamic Relief.
Islamic Relief also announced this month they had raised an incredible £1,3m during Charity Week.
