STAFF and patients at a Bradford medical practice are spreading cheer with two Christmas campaigns.

Bowling Highfield Medical Practice has asked for donations to its Santa’s Smile project which reaches out to people who are less fortunate this Christmas.

They have 40 hampers to deliver which will be shared among people who are socially isolated, elderly people living alone, people living with serious mental health problems and the homeless.

The health centre's patient participation group will be helping deliver these hampers into the community it time for Christmas.

Their Let’s Cap It All campaign has seen people knitting hats for premature babies, and congenital heart and chemotherapy patients - for the tiniest babies, right through to adults undergoing chemo.

More than 200 hats have been donated, including 140 for premature babies.

Bowling Highfield Medical Practice is a health centre with two surgery sites serving the local communities in south Bradford.
