THE Bradford district has been hit by high winds and rain today with yellow weather warnings in place.
Trees have been blown down in the Shipley area.
One blocked New Close Road near the main road in Nab Wood, Shipley.
And another tree fell down across the River Aire in Robert's Park, Saltaire.
There is also reportedly a fallen tree blocking most of the junction of Manywells Brow and Keighley road in Denholme.
Bingley weather station recorded gusts of wind at up to 47mph this morning.
The Met Office yellow weather warnings say very strong winds are expected during Tuesday until 5pm and may cause some disruption.
The wind is expected to cause some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport with road journeys made worse by spray and surface water.
Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely and there could be some short-term loss of power and other services.
Heavy rain is expected until 8pm and may add to the travel disruption.
