Celtic kid Karamoko Dembele is among the first-team fringe players to start for the Hoops' academy outfit as they bid to see off Motherwell in the Reserve Cup.

The promising young attacker has been slowly and patiently returning to action after a foot injury he picked up back in August.

That curtailed any potential run in the first-team squad after he made his debut for Neil Lennon's men at the tail end of last season at home to Hearts.

He did score against Morton recently and has played a handful of games since.

Eboue Kouassi, Jack Hendry and Luca Connell also play while Jonathan Afolabi and Liam Burt start up-front.
