Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard could be OUT of the Betfred Cup final against Rangers next week.
The Frenchman was rested for this afternoon's win over Ross County in Dingwall.
His omission was a blow before kick-off but his teammates managed to see off their opponents regardless with a sound victory.
Rangers at Hampden is a different type of challenge, though, and manager Neil Lennon would ideally have his main man up-front on December 8.
The boss has now, however, revealed that Edouard - who has scored 14 goals in 25 matches for Celts this season - could miss the powderkeg clash after missing Thursday's Europa League win over Rennes at Parkhead.
Neil Lennon: Celtic winger Lewis Morgan is going nowhere in January
Speaking to BBC Sport Scotland prior to kick-off today, Lennon said: "I can't pinpoint when he'll be back.
"We have to soldier on without him at the minute and we'll see how he is as the week goes on.
"We're taking it day by day."
Leigh Griffiths continues his rehab and came off the bench today.
Vakoun Bayo is also Celtic's other natural striker while Lewis Morgan has played as the front man in Edouard's absence.
