A CARE home decided to launch a campaign with a difference for the benefit of their residents — a video jingle encouraging people to get the flu jab.
St Catherine’s Care Home in Horwich released a short video encouraging their workers and visitors to get the jabs, to help stop the spread of the flu to vulnerable residents.
The video posted on Four Seasons’ Twitter account — the owner of the care home — shows carers and residents singing along, telling people to “be a hero in your home”.
More than 80 per cent of the workers at the home have already had the jab and goody bags have been given out to encourage everyone to get one.
Thanks to our amazing team at St Catherine's Care Home in #Bolton for their enthusiasm and great humour filming our Flu Jab Jingle - over 80% of staff in the home have already had their #flujab - setting a great example @PHE_uk @TheBoltonNews @BoltonCCG @boltoncouncil @BBCNWT pic.twitter.com/Hgx6pQvf1n
