Stolen car
A car was recovered earlier today after a suspect made off from police.
GMP Bolton North had tweeted earlier in the day to say that a car had been stolen from a house in Carlton Close, Harwood while defrosting.
The car was found a while later on Back Bury Road in Tonge Moor.
Police said that it was shortly after it made off from a police officer on Ainsworth Lane.
The tweet read: "The vehicle stolen earlier from Carlton Close, #Harwood has been found on Back Bury Road, #TongeMoor. This was shortly after it made off from an officer on Ainsworth Lane."
