A MAN from Warrington has been charged with conspiracy to murder after shots were fired at a car.

Mark Fellows, of Sandy Lane West in Orford, faces two counts of conspiracy to murder and a further charge of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm.

The 39-year-old has been charged over his suspected involvement in an incident shortly after midnight on February 18 2015, when gunshots with fired into a car with three men inside in Irlam – injuring a 27-year-old victim.

A 29-year-old man was injured during a second incident on March 1 2015 after being attacked with a machete.

Thirty-one-year-old Aaron Parkin, of no fixed address, has been charged with the same counts as Fellows.

Liam Gee and Warren Barnes, aged 30 and 31 respectively and both from Manchester, have each been charged with one count of conspiracy to murder and another of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm.

All four men are due to appear before Manchester Magistrates Court later today, Wednesday.
