Breightmet Theft
Police arrested a man for theft following a foot chase in Breightmet last night.
Officers from the Breightmet and Tonge Moor Neighbourhood teams arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of theft from a vehicle on Fairmount Avenue.
Following a chase, the man was found hiding in woodland close to Greenroyd Avenue by officers.
GMP Bolton North tweeted at 11.15pm last night: "Officers from the #Breightmet and #TongeMoor Neighbourhood Teams have tonight arrested a 32-year-old male on suspicion of theft from a vehicle on Fairmount Avenue, Breightmet.
"Following a foot chase, the male was found hiding in woodland off Greenroyd Avenue by officers."
