EIGHT youths were arrested after missiles were thrown at moving cars from a bridge.
Several vehicles were damaged after items were hurled from the canal bridge over Lumb Brook Road at around 8pm last night, Saturday.
Police held eight boys in connection with the incidents, in which no victims were seriously injured.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Cheshire Police on 101, quoting incident number IML577251, or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
A group of youths were also stopped by officers in Stockton Heath after items were thrown at homes near to Alexandra Park.
Referral orders were made to the force’s community safety team.
