THE Mad March Hare returns for its 13th event next year following a packed lineup of events in 2019.
Breast Cancer Now founder Shirley Garman's son Darran finished 10 runs on the 10th anniversary of her death. Plus, the Greenbridge Roundabout was lit up in pink and Old Town was filled with pink decorations to raise awareness of Breast Cancer Now.
Though the million-pound target has finally been reached, the Swindon team's charity work shows no signs of slowing down.
Fundraising for the 2020 event kicked off with the traditional curry and quiz night earlier this month.
The Mad March Hare sees runners, joggers and walkers tackle either a 5k or 10k route around west Swindon.
It is fully funded by sponsorship and donations, meaning that Shirley's charity benefits from all of the entry fees.
