Thousands took part in the second march to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Blackburn.
The procession began at the Masjid-e-Raza in Randal Street before making its way along Victoria Street and up the steep incline on Shear Brow.
Crowds then walked across London Road, Earl Street and Whalley Range en route to the Madina Masjid on Oak Street. At Madina Mosque everyone was served a meal.
Along the route people were offered a range of sweet delicacies by local businesses and residents.
The annual march is the largest in the region and was a part of a day long series of events organised by mosque volunteers.
