BILLINGTON and Whalley Community Centre will play host to a charity Christmas market in aid of an eating disorder charity.

The free event, organised by S.E.E.D (Support and Education for Eating Disorders) Lancashire is set to take place on Saturday, November 30, from 10.30am to 3.30pm and everyone is welcome.

Shelley Perry, clinical director for the charity said: "As a charity we do love our community events and what better event than with a festive, fun Christmas market where you can support local businesses as well as S.E.E.D; a local charity that raises awareness of eating disorders across the north west.

"The Christmas market is set to be a family favourite and we do hope you will join us where you can stock up on stocking fillers from a range of homemade gifts, local crafts and delicious festive refreshments on the day; or simply enjoy some quality family time and the fun atmosphere on the day.ā€

Guests will be treated to Christmas carols, mulled wine, a variety of stalls at the centre in Whalley Road, Billington.

S.E.E.D is a not for profit charity that does not receive any funding so events like this are the lifeline of the charity.

All money raised from this Christmas event will help fund S.E.E.Dā€™s vital work in the community.
