A HOME Bargains store is coming to Burnley this week.

The new store will be opened on Saturday at Burnley Retail Park and will create up to 40 new jobs.

The store has cost around £800,000 to implement.

This will be the company's third store in the town, and one of 500 outlets across the UK and one of the 50 the business will open this year.

Joe Morris, operations director at Home Bargains, said: "We’re thrilled to be launching our third store in Burnley and look forward to welcoming customers through the doors.

"Burnley Retail Park will be a great location for us and we’re proud to be able to offer local people top-branded goods at exceptionally low prices."

Established over 40 years ago in Old Swan, Liverpool, the family-owned and family-run business has grown to become one of the largest privately-owned companies in the UK and employs more than 20,000 members of staff.

The 15,500 sq ft store, adjacent to TK Maxx, will offer shoppers a range of products, including homewares, health and beauty essentials, sweets, snacks and drinks, as well as fresh and frozen food.

The store will be opened at 8.30am on Saturday at the Church Street site.

Home Bargains also has stores in Nelson, Accrington, Rawtenstall.
