SIXTY students from Twyford High School and West Thames College were given an insight into the construction industry at a number of interactive workshops at Acton Gardens.
They learned about trades, including carpentry, brickwork, plumbing, engineering and architecture on the site where the former South Acton estate is being regenerated.
The students had a look behind the scenes at the £600m scheme by Countryside and L&Q, where 3,400 homes are being built.
