A BRADFORD dog who made national news last week is still unclaimed and being held at a South Yorkshire kennel.

On Thursday, 17 October, a dog got on the 620 bus at Bierley Lane bus stop by herself, without any owners, before being taken to Cliffe Kennels, near Barnsley, where she remains.

Despite national press coverage and appeals for her owners, the dog is still unclaimed. If she has still not been claimed by her 7th day at the kennel, she will be put up for adoption.

Yorkshire Rose Dog Rescue said, "The Kennels have been inundated with enquiries and have asked for the public not to ring until the dog is put up for adoption."

The rescue also said, "She has apparently received vet care for an infected eye."
