Two Bradford NHS Trusts have won a national award for their support for Britain’s Armed Forces.
Bradford District Care NHS Trust and Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust have each been given a Silver Award under the Government’s Employer Recognition Scheme, for ensuring that they treat the military fairly.
Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire Ed Anderson was joined by the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Doreen Lee, to present their certificates.
HM Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire Ed Anderson said: "Reservists, cadet force adult volunteers and veterans make a huge contribution to businesses across the region and it's fantastic to be able to acknowledge these two major Bradford employers who are giving back to our military and recognising the value they bring to their organisations."
