PLANNING BOSSES in Bracknell Forest chucked out plans for 197 homes in Warfield last week.

Cutting down six trees in Sandhurst
Homeowners at Cock-a-dobby wanted to chop down six trees at their Sandhurst home.

But planning bosses chucked out the plans because the trees have ‘high amenity value’.
The trees are protected under Tree Preservation Orders.
Double garage in Ascot
Alongside a double garage, homeowners at Fernbank Road also wanted to install a window and add a roof extension.
Winkfield Parish Council bosses had no objections to the plans.

However, borough council chiefs refused the proposal.
Two storey home in Sandhurst
Designers want to an existing home on College Road in College Town into two separate homes to include a rear extension.
Seven objections were sent to the council from neighbours unhappy with the plans because the proposal is ‘not in keeping’ with the other houses nearby.

Sandhurst Town Council suggested the plans be chucked out and the plans have now been withdrawn.
A new barn in Warfield
Stables on Osborne Lane will be joined by a new barn after planning bosses gave the proposal the all-clear.
It would be used to provide storage for hay to feed the ten horses on the site, as well as bedding straw and shavings for stables.

Winkfield Parish Council chiefs wanted the plans to be thrown out because they considered it as ‘over-development’ in the green belt.
But Bracknell Forest Council higher-ups granted the proposal earlier this week.
Garage conversion in Binfield
Homeowners at Buchanan Way in Binfield want to create living space in their garage.
This would mean adding bi-fold doors to the rear of the garage.
Binfield parish chiefs claimed these plans should be refused because of a lack of parking on the site, among other reasons.
